TAC-Funded Psychology in Melbourne

If you were injured in a road accident, the Transport Accident Commission (TAC) may fund your psychology sessions with no out-of-pocket cost. The Talk Shop is a registered TAC provider across all four Melbourne locations and via Telehealth.

What Is TAC Psychology Funding?

The Transport Accident Commission (TAC) funds psychological treatment for people injured in Victorian road accidents. This includes psychological injury as well as support for adjusting to a physical injury.

TAC at a glance:

  • No out-of-pocket cost for eligible clients
  • GP referral required to The Talk Shop
  • Covers psychological injury and adjustment to physical injury
  • Available in-clinic and via Telehealth
  • Sessions must be clinically justified
  • TAC must accept liability for your claim
