Viviana Jancso

Viviana Jancso is a warm, personable, and highly experienced Clinical Psychologist with over 30 years of practice in the mental health field. She holds a Master of Applied Psychology (Clinical), a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychology (Counselling), and a Bachelor of Applied Science (Psychology). Viviana also completed a Bachelor of Laws (LLB), which has strengthened her expertise in forensic and court-related psychological work. She is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (MAPS) and an AHPRA board-approved supervisor.
Viviana works with adults, adolescents, and couples, and is known for building strong, respectful therapeutic relationships. She has a particular interest in helping clients work through trauma, anxiety, relationship issues, and challenges related to high-conflict separations, domestic violence, parenting struggles, adjustment difficulties, and stress-related conditions.
Her approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to each client’s individual needs. Viviana draws on a broad range of evidence-based therapies, including Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) Level 1 and 2, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Clinical Hypnotherapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy. Clients often describe her as approachable, insightful, and deeply committed to helping them achieve meaningful change.
Fluent in Italian, Viviana brings cultural sensitivity and flexibility to her work with clients from diverse backgrounds. She offers a safe, inclusive space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered to grow.
