Tim is a registered psychologist with experience in various therapeutic environments, including community health settings, disability services, primary education, and private practice.
He provides a relaxed yet professional and structured approach to sessions. Tim aims to ensure that therapeutic progress is being made and that his client’s therapeutic goals are being moved towards suitably. To achieve this, Tim utilises techniques from cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and various other therapeutic frameworks.
Tim also creates a collaborative process with his clients to identify the most valuable direction of sessions. His tailored sessions often include cooperatively identifying primary issues, discussing why certain symptoms arise and are maintained, and providing evidence-based techniques to address and manage the identified problems.
Tim works with individuals aged 12 and above, and his areas of interest and speciality include;
