I am an AHPRA registered Provisional Psychologist and have recently completed a Master of Professional Psychology at The Cairnmillar Institute. Prior to this, I completed a Bachelor of Psychological Science at La Trobe University, and Graduate Diploma of Psychology Advanced at Monash University.
I have worked within multiple disability and community mental health support roles since graduating from my initial studies in 2014. I also have experience with assessment and intervention in private practice with adolescents and adults as part of my recent Masters program.
I use a collaborative, non-judgemental, and curious approach to understanding your needs. Together, we will seek to understand patterns and relationships between thoughts, emotions, and behaviours; and subsequently develop an individualised treatment plan with the aim of moving towards your goals.
I am interested in working with children, adolescents, and adults; and have a specific interest in treating sleep disturbances and panic attacks. I am also interested in difficulties related to depression, anxiety, perfectionism, and phobias. I take a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) approach to practice, but also draw from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Mindfulness where appropriate.
