How It Works — Step by Step

Step 1 — Get in Touch

Call 1300 224 665 or book online. Let us know you’re an NDIS participant, share your plan details and participant number.

Step 2 — We Confirm Your Funding

Our admin team verifies your Improved Daily Living budget and confirms we can see you under your plan type. We prepare a Service Agreement before your first session.

Step 3 — Your First Session

Your psychologist gets to know you, understands your NDIS goals, and develops a personalised support plan. Sessions are 50 minutes — in-person at Level 1, 343 Little Collins Street or via telehealth.

Step 4 — Ongoing Sessions

Regular 50-minute sessions in-person at our CBD clinic or via telehealth from anywhere in Victoria. You see the same psychologist each time for continuity of care.

Step 5 — Billing

We invoice your plan manager or the NDIA directly. Agency-managed and plan-managed participants pay nothing upfront. Self-managed participants pay at the session and claim reimbursement via the NDIS myplace portal.

Plan Management Types

Self-Managed

You manage your NDIS funds. We invoice you after each session and you claim reimbursement via the NDIS myplace portal.

Plan-Managed

A plan manager handles payments. We invoice them directly — no payment required from you at sessions.

Agency-Managed

The NDIA manages your funds. As a registered provider we bill the NDIA directly — confirm with your LAC that The Talk Shop is approved.
