Martha Panagiotopoulos

Martha is a Registered Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and is also a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and the Australian Association of Psychologists inc. (AAPi)

Martha works with young children, adolescents and adults experiencing a variety of challenges which prevent them from doing day to day tasks and having a meaningful and fulfilling engagement in life. She also has extensive experience working in schools and working with clients from diverse backgrounds. Martha has a passion working with clients experiencing anxiety, grief and loss, adjustment issues, relationship issues, emotion regulation/anger and work-related issues.

Martha’s warm, respectful and non-judgmental approach aims to provide a supportive environment for her clients to work towards reaching their goals. Martha adopts a client-centred approach and tailors her therapy to the individual needs of each client. Throughout the duration of therapy, Martha works together with her client to assist the client in identifying their needs/feelings and developing specific goals to target in therapy. Her aim is to ensure therapy is a safe space for clients, where they are able to explore issues and work collaboratively toward their goals and needs.

Martha also has extensive experience in the administration of cognitive assessments such as the Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children and Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale and personality assessments.
