I am an AHPRA registered psychologist with a strong commitment to integrating empathy into my practice, fostering a compassionate and supportive environment for my clients.
I enjoy working with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures, recognising the importance of understanding each person’s unique experiences and perspective, including those from the LGBTQI+ community. My approach is person-focused, strength-based, and evidence-driven, ensuring that I tailor interventions to meet the individual needs of each client. My primary approach is Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), while also integrating mindfulness techniques to enhance awareness and coping skills.
I have prior experience working with clients struggling with eating disorders and have received specialised training in Brief Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Non-Underweight Patients (CBT-T), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Eating Disorders (CBT-E), Satter’s Division of Responsibility (sDOR), and Family-Based Therapy (FBT). Additionally, I have supported clients with a wide range of presentations, providing holistic and flexible care to promote growth and well-being.
I have a strong interest in working with clients who are experiencing a range of challenges, including:
- Eating disorders (anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating)
- Anxiety,
- Depression,
- Personality disorders,
- Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD),
- Grief and loss (including relationship difficulties)
- Low self-esteem.
I am committed to supporting individuals in navigating these difficulties, helping them build resilience and fostering a sense of empowerment through compassionate, evidence-based therapeutic approaches. My aim is to work collaboratively with clients to address their unique needs and support their journey toward healing and well-being.
I am available to support children, adolescents and adults.
I offer for face-to-face sessions at the Brandon Park clinic on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, and provide Telehealth appointments on Wednesdays and Fridays.
