Wendy is a person-centred Psychologist who works within a strengths-based framework, tailoring her approach to each client. She aims to create a safe, non-judgmental space for exploring clients’ concerns and works collaboratively with clients towards their therapeutic goals. Wendy has experience working with adults and adolescents from diverse backgrounds in a variety of sectors including community health, university and secondary school settings.

Wendy’s therapeutic approach is informed by Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), Narrative Therapy, and Interpersonal Process Approach. She also draws on other evidence-based approaches including Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).

Wendy works with adults of all ages and adolescents (13-17 years) on a range of presenting issues including anxiety, depression, stress, grief and loss, trauma, emotion dysregulation, carers’ issues, life transitions, relationship issues, adjustment issues and low self-esteem.

Wendy is currently on extended carers leave for the remainder of this year and is planning to return to work  at our Reservoir office in 2019. which is easily accessible from the Northern Suburbs of Melbourne.
