Vivien is an AHPRA registered psychologist and an ACA certified counsellor, with experiences in providing clinical assessment and psychological treatment for adults and children across public health and education settings. She has worked in crisis support services, public hospitals, university and TAFE clinics as well as mainstream and specialist schools. Vivien is passionate about evidence-based practices and accessible healthcare. She believes meaningful therapy is educational, authentic and relational. Her approach is to take a non-judgmental and curious stance towards her clients’ concerns, so as to promote her clients’ own understanding of the ways they have learnt to relate to their world.

Other Professional Skills
Vivien can speak in Mandarin and Cantonese at a conversational level, which helps her practice cultural sensitivities with clients who identify as being from East Asian or South East Asian cultures. However, please note that she will not be able to provide therapy in these languages. Vivien has also undertaken additional professional development in conducting cognitive and academic testing for young people (i.e. IQ testing), as well as in the assessment of autism spectrum conditions (Autism, Asperger’s) for adults and young people.
