Rosa is a general psychologist who sees therapy as an empowering collaborative process where the client has the leading voice. She recognises that clients are unique, and their difficulties cannot be reduced to a generic diagnosis or treatment. Instead, her interventions are tailored, respecting clients’ integrity, and adopting a holistic, strengths-based, and encouraging approach.
After working in diverse settings, including schools, universities, not-for-profit organisations, employment services, and private practice; Rosa is confident in assisting individuals across the lifespan and from diverse cultural backgrounds and vulnerable groups, such as people with disabilities, the LGBT community, international students, recent migrants, and refugees.
Rosa has extensive experience working with multiple conditions that include but are not limited to anxiety, depression, stress, grief and loss, trauma, chronic pain, relationship issues, life transitions, substance abuse, and eating disorders. She is proficient in designing tailored individual and group therapeutic interventions using evidence-based techniques such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, and Narrative Therapy.
Rosa speaks Spanish and can provide treatment in that language.
Rosa is available for telehealth consultations only.
