Rachel is a registered psychologist with a passion for helping clients to overcome personal challenges and live a full and meaningful life. She is skilled in treating a wide range of issues – including depression, anxiety, stress, relationship difficulties, grief and loss, low self-esteem, adjustment issues, emotion dysregulation and parenting challenges.
Rachel sees clients aged 13 years and above. She has worked with clients across the lifespan, in not-for-profit, government and educational settings. She has a particular interest in supporting teenagers and young adults.
Rachel brings a warm, empathetic, down-to-earth therapy style that gives clients a safe, accepting space to process and explore their concerns. She believes in working collaboratively with her clients, and empowering them to discover new self-insight and make life-transforming change. Rachel draws on therapeutic approaches including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and compassion-focused therapy (CFT).
