Nina is a registered General Psychologist with AHPRA and a member of the APS. She completed her qualifications at the University of Natal (Durban) in South Africa. She has over 20 years of experience, working in private practice, both online and face-to-face, with people across the age lifespan.

Nina believes that a strong therapeutic relationship between the client and the therapist is the foundation for all productive therapy. Therefore, her focus is to provide a warm and non-judgmental space where the client feels comfortable, safe and truly heard. It is within this space that the client can address their issues and work towards gaining new insights and developing more effective coping skills. This secure bubble of time, where the client’s feelings and experiences are acknowledged and validated, is an integral part of the healing process.

Nina has a special interest in working with adults with anxiety and depressive disorders, self-esteem issues, stress, relationship and adjustment difficulties and past trauma. Nina’s approach is holistic and eclectic, focussing on the specific needs of each client individually. Her therapy is informed by Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Mindfulness.

Nina speaks fluent English and Conversational Afrikaans
