Neelu is a Clinical Psychologist with nearly 8 years of experience that includes clinical work such as assessments and psychotherapy, academic teaching and work in clinical trials.
With warmth and professionalism, Neelu works collaboratively with her clients to help gain a greater understanding of their difficulties, develop new skills, and identify and achieve one’s personal goals. She aims at empowering clients and helping them gain greater life satisfaction.
She works with young people and adults seeking better self-management skills to cope with day to day stress, adjust to life situations, and enhance ones capabilities to be able to reach full potential. Neelu also addresses difficult emotional experiences like depression and mania, anxiety disorders like social anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) and phobias, as well as addictions and personality disorders. Her interests also include working with relationship issues, helping couples recognize and resolve conflicts and build stronger relationships.
She works comfortably within an eclectic mix of therapeutic modalities like Supportive Therapy, Cognitive and Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), as well as Clinical Hypnotherapy and Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) to suit each individual’s unique needs.
Neelu is fluent in English as well as Hindi.
