Natalie Gelfand

Natalie is a provisional psychologist, registered with the Australian Health Registration Practitioner Agency (AHPRA) and is currently completing her Masters of Psychology (Clinical). She has a Bachelor in Biomedical Science (majoring in Molecular Life Sciences), as well as a Graduate Diploma in Psychology with Honours.

Natalie has previously worked with a diverse range of presentations across a lifespan, both within the private and public sector, via schemas such as the NDIS. She has received specialised training in behavioural intervention, working with children, adolescents and young adults. She can provide support and counselling for a range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, self-esteem, behavioural and emotional regulation difficulties, adjustment issues and interpersonal difficulties.

Natalie is passionate about supporting people experiencing mental health difficulties and improving their wellbeing. She aims to maintain a safe, empathetic and warm space, where each person feels accepted, understood, and respected. She incorporates evidence-based interventions, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
