Making high quality mental healthcare accessible for everyone

Micole Liong

Micole is a provisional psychologist currently completing the Master of Professional Psychology at Victoria University. She is provisionally registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and is a member of the Australian Association of Psychologists (AAPi).

Micole understands how important it is to find the ‘right fit’ in therapy. She aims to provide clients with a respectful, non-judgmental space where they can feel safe, cared for and seen, while talking about the hard stuff. An important guiding principle of her work is collaboration. Together, she will assist you in building your insight and understanding of your difficulties, increasing your awareness of unhelpful patterns that are no longer serving you. Throughout your work together, she will ask for your feedback and encourage an honest dialogue about what is and isn’t working for you.

Some therapeutic modalities that she may draw on include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Mindfulness. Micole offers experience working with individuals across the lifespan with a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, personality disorders, stress, and more.

Micole is available on Wednesdays at Little Collins Street and Fridays at Reservoir offices for both in-clinic and Telehealth appointments.

Micole is available to see adolescents and adults, with the option for after-hours sessions.
