Making high quality mental healthcare accessible for everyone

Linda Davis

Linda is a warm-hearted and practical individual with broad life experiences that she brings to counselling.  Sometimes clients simply want an independent ear, someone who doesn’t judge them and someone who can provide practical suggestions to deal with complex problems. On other occasions, clients are looking for considerable guidance on what to do.

Linda has found over many years of counselling that collaboration on goal setting produces the best outcomes.  The client is the best person to know their situation and the lives of the people around them.  Linda brings a variety of approaches to her work depending on the needs of the individual.

Linda has a Bachelor of Arts with majors in Psychology and Australian Studies and a Graduate Diploma in Psychological Studies and a Vocational Graduate Diploma in Family Therapy.   She also has a Bachelor of Psychological Science (Hons) completing a thesis on discrimination.  She is a psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Authority (AHPRA) and a member of the Australian Association of Psychologists Inc.

Linda has specialist training in Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy, Schema Therapy, and Narrative Therapy as well as training and experience in delivering several trauma-focused modalities.

Linda has an interest in seeing adult clients with the following challenges:
