Psychologist

Kyli is a registered psychologist, with a Master’s degree in Community Psychology, who has worked with young people, adults and groups, from a diverse range of cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds, in community, government, not-for-profit and educational sectors. She is committed to providing warm, empathic, person-centred and strengths-based counselling, as well as working in a collaborative way, with all her clients.

Most recently, Kyli has worked as a specialist trauma counsellor with people affected by violence, sexual and/or physical assault, accident, complicated grief and loss, as well as other traumatic life experiences. She is also experienced in working with depression, anxiety and relationship concerns, and is currently completing her PhD regarding self-harm.

Kyli draws on a number of therapeutic approaches in her counselling practice such as: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness, Solution Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, as well as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). All interventions are targeted to meet individuals’ needs and values.
