Bachelor of Science (Psychology) with Honours,
Master of Psychology (Organisational)

Kristel is a registered psychologist with a background in Organisational Psychology. She is currently undertaking further studies in Clinical Psychology, and is passionate about helping clients to overcome personal challenges and develop the skills to live a fulfilling life.

Kristel has experience in treating a range of issues – including depression, anxiety, stress, work-related issues, interpersonal issues and conflict, bullying and harassment, psychological impacts of physical injury/illness, grief and loss, low self-esteem, adjustment issues and emotional dysregulation. Kristel is also skilled in vocational and career counselling, to assist individuals who may be in the midst of a career transition, or feeling confused about their career direction.

Kristel has recently relocated from Western Australia, and has worked with clients from a diverse range of cultural and professional backgrounds in corporate, occupational rehabilitation and private practice settings.

Kristel works with both adolescents and adults, and has a particular interest in supporting adolescents and young adults.

Kristel believes in working collaboratively with her clients, and empowering them to manage the challenges they are facing in their lives. She values client feedback, and endeavours to create a safe, warm and down-to-earth environment where clients feel comfortable to explore their concerns.

Kristel draws on therapeutic approaches including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), mindfulness, solution focussed therapy (SFT) and motivational interviewing (MI).

Kristel is avialable at the Little Collins Street and the Kew Offices.
