Kerry Dryden

Kerry is a recent graduate of the Master of Psychology (Clinical) from Bond University, and deliver Telehealth based services from Far North NSW. Kerry enjoys building a client-centred and trusting relationship with each client, with an emphasis on listening to the client’s story and enabling the client to prioritise and address their individual needs.

Kerry has an eclectic style using cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and various mindfulness and relaxation techniques which are based in DBT, along with specialised training in Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT/Tapping).

Whilst not specialising, Kerry has a strong interest and knowledge base in pain management as well as dealing with elderly people with anxiety and depression. Her experience, across all age groups, includes anxiety, depressive symptoms, PTSD/trauma, personality disorders, and assessment and treatment of youth with symptoms of ADHD and autism.

For many years, prior to becoming a Psychologist, Kerry assisted the most disadvantaged and those with disabilities to find fulfilling employment; and hold a diploma in career guidance counselling.
