Kathleen is a Registered Psychologist with AHPRA. She completed her postgraduate at Australian Catholic University.

Kathleen is a driven and passionate psychologist who aspires to strengthen and better the lives of children and youth by building their resilience and coping skills. She believes every individual deserves an opportunity to thrive in life.

Kathleen has worked with children and families in a variety of settings, including clinics and primary and secondary schools.

Kathleen has experience in treating a wide range of mental health and school-based issues, such as:

  • Emotional dysregulation
  • Anger management
  • Anxiety
  • Trauma
  • Self-harm
  • Social skills difficulties
  • Friendship difficulties
  • Bullying
  • Transition
  • Low self-esteem
  • Body image
  • Behavioural problems

Kathleen has also worked with clients with ASD, ADHD and learning difficulties. She has a special interest in the treatment of anxiety and childhood trauma.

Kathleen adopts a client-centred, holistic approach in her work with her clients to cater to their unique strengths, values and needs. She draws on a range of therapeutic modalities including Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness. She also incorporates Play Therapy and Art Therapy techniques in her work. Kathleen believes in working closely and collaboratively with parents, teachers and other health professionals to effectively support her clients.

Besides English, Kathleen also speaks in Cantonese and Bahasa Malaysia, however, please note that she will not be able to conduct sessions in those languages.
