Jasmin works with a wide range of presenting problems including but not limited to depression, anxiety, grief and loss, stress, identity issues, relationship difficulties and communication issues. She has experience working therapeutically with children, adolescents and adults across school and clinical settings and has provided counselling and advocacy to university students.
Jasmin takes a person-centred approach informed by each client’s unique needs, beliefs, values and potential for growth and healing. This results in an empathetic, collaborative therapeutic style with a focus on strengths-based counselling. Jasmin sees long and short term clients, drawing upon Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Emotion Focused Therapy.
Jasmin has a special interest in relationships and their impact on wellbeing. She helps couples and individuals identify and resolve conflicts in order to build strong, lasting relationships. She believes that awareness of our individual needs, emotions, thoughts and patterns of relating move us towards making meaningful changes in our lives.
