Making high quality mental healthcare accessible for everyone

Georgia Quirk

I am an AHPRA registered provisional psychologist with a strong commitment to integrating empathy into my practice, fostering a compassionate and supportive environment for my clients. I enjoy working with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures, recognising the importance of understanding each person’s unique experiences and perspective. My approach is person-focused, strength-based, and evidence-driven, ensuring that I tailor interventions to meet the individual needs of each client. I have prior experience working with clients struggling with eating disorders and have received specialised training in Brief Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Non-Underweight Patients (CBT-T), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Eating Disorders (CBT-E), Satter’s Division of Responsibility (sDOR), and Family-Based Therapy (FBT). Additionally, I have supported clients with a wide range of presentations, providing holistic and flexible care to promote growth and well-being.

I have a strong interest in working with clients who are experiencing a range of challenges, including:

  • Eating disorders (anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating)
  • Anxiety,
  • Depression,
  • Personality disorders,
  • Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD),
  • Grief and loss (including relationship difficulties)
  • Low self-esteem.

I am committed to supporting individuals in navigating these difficulties, helping them build resilience and fostering a sense of empowerment through compassionate, evidence-based therapeutic approaches. My aim is to work collaboratively with clients to address their unique needs and support their journey toward healing and well-being.

I am available to support children, adolescents and adults.

I am available from Monday to Wednesday at Little Collins Street, and Thursdays at Brandon Park for face-to-face and telehealth appointments.
