Gemma is a registered Psychologist with experience in the assessment and treatment of children, adults and older adults.  Gemma has experience working with a variety of concerns including a range of psychological concerns such as anxiety, stress and mood disorders, relationship concerns, trauma, pain, grief and loss, emotion regulation, as well as psychotic illnesses.

Gemma utilises a range of evidence based treatments including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Schema Therapy, Psychoeducation as well as counselling and mindfulness techniques.  Gemma fosters a collaborative approach and tailors her approach to each individual, taking into account their and personal preferences in order to help clients achieve their therapeutic goals.

Gemma has a warm and empathetic style and strives to provide clients with a safe and non-judgemental space in which to explore their thoughts and concerns.

Gemma has experience working in community health and hospital settings as well as in private practice.  She is interested in supporting both young people and adults.  Gemma is based at the Reservoir practice and is available for weekday and evening sessions.
