Fina obtained her Masters of clinical psychology from the Cairnmillar Insitute.
She has worked as a psychologist in both Australia and Indonesia. She has experienced working in a psychiatric hospital and Non-Government Organisations in Indonesia. In Australia, Fina has extensive experience in educational settings, private practice and a community centre.
Fina sees clients with a wide range of issues, such as (but not limited to) anxiety, depression, post-natal depression (PND), emotional dysregulations, loneliness, anger and frustrations, childhood and adult trauma, domestic violence, relationship and marital discords, negative self-image and/or body-image, distress after major life decisions, emotional strain related to migration, and parenting hardships as well as grief and loss.
Fina believes in working collaboratively with clients. She aims to draw on clients’ strengths and resilience in a non-judgemental and empathetic manner. She focuses on engaging clients to work within a variety of evidence-based therapies, such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive and Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and other therapies that are deemed suitable for clients.
Fina is fluent in both English and Indonesian and works from our Brandon Park offices.
