Elaine is a registered psychologist with experience working with primary school children, adolescents and adults. She is eager to help people overcome problems and bring about a positive change in their lives.

Elaine has worked in a variety of settings, including clinics, primary and secondary schools. She has provided counselling services and run social skills groups for children and young people with different issues, such as:

  • Anger management
  • Anxiety
  • Cultural adjustment/culture shock
  • Depression
  • Emotion regulation
  • Friendship issues
  • Learning difficulties
  • Sleeping difficulty

Elaine has also conducted cognitive (IQ), educational, and socio-emotional assessments for individuals with various challenges, including:

  • Anxiety
  • Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
  • Gifted
  • Learning Difficulties (e.g., Dyslexia)
  • Low mood
  • Oppositional/ challenging behaviours
  • Organisation difficulties
  • Weak memory

Elaine incorporates various modes of evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness and Play Therapy. She is able to provide psychological treatment in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
