Edward (Eddy) Hua is a Registered Psychologist with a demonstrated history of providing mental health support across government organisations, NGOs, and the private sector. Eddy recognises the many barriers to receiving help and is committed to offering an inviting, safe, and open space through his gentle and light-hearted approach. He has a keen interest in helping people understand their behaviour, navigate big emotions and life stressors, and help families develop more intimate and responsive relationships. While Eddy utilises a range of evidence-based therapeutic modalities tailored to the individual, he primarily draws from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).
Eddy completed his undergraduate training at UNSW, has a Masters in Professional Psychology at WSU, and is finalising his Masters in Psychological Practice (Clinical) at ACAP.
Eddy is currently providing support and counselling to adolescents and adults that present with a range of concerns including:
