Daniel Wright

Daniel is a registered psychologist and clinical psychology registrar with over ten years of experience across youth and adult mental health, disability services, and the university sector. Daniel holds a Master of Clinical Psychology from La Trobe University. Daniel is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and an associate member of the APS College of Clinical Psychologists (AMCCP). Daniel is Cookson Scholar currently undertaking a PhD at the University of Melbourne in medical decision-making.

Daniel is trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). He aims to create a relaxed and conversational feel to the session and ask thoughtful questions to prompt new insights.

Daniel can assist clients experiencing low mood, anxiety and panic, stress, anger, family and relationship issues, grief and life-changes, social anxiety, self-confidence issues, and habit change.

Daniel has a particular interest in assisting clients with their goals around alcohol, drug and gambling use. 

Daniel has a particular interest in work-related stress and is available to see Workcover clients.
