Christopher (Chris) Carter

Chris is a psychologist with experience working with both adults and adolescents across community and private settings. Chris strives to create an accepting, and non-judgemental space for clients to safely explore their concerns. He adopts a tailored approach to therapy focused upon understanding the unique treatment needs of each client. Chris is able to practice from skills-based stances including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Motivational Interviewing and interpersonal approaches including Psychodynamic, Existential and Person-centered therapy
Chris has a warm therapeutic style and is committed to providing her clients with a safe and supportive therapeutic relationship. He welcomes adult, and adolescent clients and is comfortable working with client goals that range from symptom relief from serious mental illness to personal transformation and self-actualisation.
