Carley Fraser

Carley is a provisional psychologist currently completing a Master of Psychology (Clinical Psychology). Carley has completed her Bachelor of Arts at Monash University and Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) at Swinburne University. She is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and is an associate member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS).

Carley has previously worked with children, adolescents and young adults in a community clinic setting and with young adults at a university counselling service. She has the experience and interest in working with people of all ages experiencing life stressors in the areas of personal identity, life transitions, relationships, work, school/university, and health and illness, as well as mental health concerns including depression and mood concerns, anxiety and stress, trauma, body image and self-esteem concerns. She has an interest in working with diverse client groups including those identifying as LGBTQIA+, neurodivergent and/or disabled, with an intersectional lens and strengths-based approach.

Carley works from a client-centred approach, aiming to provide a safe, collaborative and supportive space for individuals to address challenges they face and improve their wellbeing. She uses evidence-based approaches when working with clients, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), and mindfulness and self-compassion approaches. She is also able to provide cognitive and personality assessments.
