Candice Mace

Candice is a provisional psychologist, who is currently completing her Masters of Psychology (Clinical).  Candice has completed her Bachelor of Psychological Sciences at Swinburne University and Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) at the Cairnmillar Institute.  She is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and is also a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS).

Candice has worked as grief, loss and trauma counsellor both in the early intervention space and also with populations presenting with prolonged difficulties. She also has experience working with geriatric populations and adults with intellectual disabilities. She has an accepting, warm, gentle and empathetic nature and is capable of quickly building strong and trusting relationships with her clients.  Candice uses a holistic, client-centred and collaborative approach, providing evidence-based treatments that are solution focused.

Candice is passionate about the mental health and wellbeing of all people and can provide support and counselling to adolescents, adults and geriatric clients that present with a range of concerns including grief/loss, trauma, depression, anxiety, weight/self-esteem issues and adjustment issues.
